it's our birthday!

Sandblast is the leading off road racing event on the SA Rover calendar and we are turning 21! It has been has been run annually since 1983, except for 2002 to 2006 when insurance costs meant Rovers had to take a break from their off-road racing times! After the raging success of the 2007 event we are back bigger and better than ever before! This year it will be held on the 3rd of October and will be non-stop action till the 6th.

The event has a large focus on events held on the track, but don't let that discourage you from attending if you're not a revhead! There are more than enough activities to do off the track to keep you out of (or in!) trouble! These will range from jelly wrestling to gokarts and much more! Then at night the stage lights up with bands and DJ's cranking the beats til the early hours of the morning. Basically the Sandblast team aim to provide something for everyone so its an event you'll remember for years!

Sunday the 5th of October this day is for you! Sandblast Open Day is your chance to attend SA Rovers largest annual event and see what all the fuss is about! For $2 you will be graced with heart throbbing action on the track with the roar of vehicles racing for the winning trophy, as well as amazing day activities to keep a smile on your face!
